Loan Calculators

Work out what a loan really costs before you sign – the EMI, the total interest, how much you can borrow, and how much prepaying saves.

Before you borrow

  • Compare the total interest, not just the EMI. A longer tenure lowers the EMI but can double what you pay overall.
  • Keep total EMIs within about 40–50% of your take-home pay.
  • Ask for the processing fee, prepayment charges and whether the rate is linked to the repo rate.
